On which instruments do you offer instruction?
Violin, Viola, Cello, and Piano/Keyboard, Guitar, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, & French Horn

How old does my child need to be to start?
  • Piano we recommend starting no earlier than age 5
  • Violin, age 7
  • Viola or Cello, age 9
  • Guitar, age 7
  • Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone and Trumpet, age 9
  • French Horn & Trombone, age 11

Do you teach advanced students?
Absolutely!  A goal for many students is to get into All South Jersey Band or Orchestra.
  • There is yet to be a student at the school who has not felt like they are not being challenged enough.

How much does it cost?

What should I do if I want to start lessons immediately?
Schedule a first lesson
  • Buy or rent an instrument (We recommend Music & Arts)
  • Get a music stand and music book (we’ll let you know which one you will need).

How long are lessons and how often?
Lessons are generally once a week for 30 minutes.
  • More serious students take 45 minutes or an hour.

How often should I practice?

Do you teach adults?
Adults are definitely encouraged to take lessons since playing an instrument is not only relaxing, but also helps keep the mind working at full capacity. For example, playing piano is shown to prevent the development of Alzheimer’s.

What New Jersey townships do you offer lessons in?
We currently  offer lessons in  Moorestown  and nearby   cities.
